Who we are

Christian Family Church Tanzania

Christian Family Church Tanzania — CFC (T) — is a registered evangelical church headquartered at Mbezi Louis, Dar es Salaam, and part of the CFNET network.

Christian Family Church Tanzania was established to promote the Christian faith and to spread the teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe the church is a family — a place where every person, household and generation can grow in Christ.

Registration

Registered as a Board of Trustees — constitution received by the Administrator-General (RITA), Dar es Salaam, 11 March 2021.

Vision

Families and communities transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ — rooted in faith, education, health and unity.

Mission

To preach the Gospel, raise believers as disciples, and serve the community through churches, education, health and works of mercy.

What We Do

What We Do

The seven objectives of the church as set out in our constitution.

    Spreading the Gospel

    Promoting the Christian faith through leaders, pastors and ministers, spreading the teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ.

    Religious Events

    Organising conferences, seminars and crusades, and taking full responsibility for them.

  3. c

    Churches & Institutions

    Building and maintaining churches, schools, colleges, health centres and centres for the poor.

  4. d

    Education & Scholarships

    Providing grants and scholarships to needy students — education, vocational training and skills.

  5. e

    Charity

    Promoting charitable values, literature, science, arts, education and culture.

  6. f

    Public Unity

    Building unity and harmony in the communities we serve.

  7. g

    Caring for Creation

    Raising awareness on the environment: forests, tree planting, waste and land management.

Leadership Structure

The church is governed by a Board of Trustees of between 2 and 10 members, led by the Chairperson (Archbishop), the Secretary (Vice Archbishop) and the Treasurer. The Board is the highest organ responsible for church property and is appointed by the General Meeting.

Membership

A member is someone who has repented towards God and received Jesus Christ as Lord, who is born again and attends church services regularly. You can join by filling in a membership form at the CFC church nearest to you.
